In the latest episode of the Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson and James May headed to the United States to attend the 2015 SEMA auto show in Las Vegas. But while they were there, the Aussie motoring stars were forced to work harder than ever to get the best shots of the vehicles featured on the show. Clarkson says the larger-than-life nature of the show, which has featured the hosts crashing a helicopter into a house and racing a supercar down the Brighton seafront, meant it was more challenging than ever to get the best shots.

When you watch Grand Tour, the chance of you not seeing a single episode is slim. The show has been running for nine years and Discovery has been trying to get the show to work. The show is a test, the Master of None co-creator said, a test to see if the show will work. The answer is yes. The show has been very successful, the show has been cancelled, and the show has been renewed.

From the minute it was announced that Clarkson was going to be a contestant on the upcoming Grand Tour, the internet was abuzz with conspiracy theories, feverish speculation and outrage. But when the team arrived in the USA, they were no longer the beleaguered underdogs that they once were. While some of the questions they were asked may have been petty, they certainly put in a shift for the team.

The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown -Trailer

The Grand Tour crew had to be on its ‘A-game’ while shooting due to the coronavirus outbreak, according to Jeremy Clarkson.

In The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown, Jeremy is joined by co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May for a journey to the Scottish Highlands in vintage vehicles from the 1970s, which is part of a double bill on Amazon Prime Video.

Due to the epidemic, the presenters were obliged to shoot in the UK rather than various places overseas for the highly-anticipated show, which was shot last year in between lockdowns.

Jeremy has described how the COVID-19 epidemic altered their filming strategy.

‘I don’t know, I think filming in COVID pushed us to be on our A-game since the danger was so high,’ he told RadioTimes.com.

The epidemic, according to Jeremy, caused a logistical nightmare for the show’s cast and crew.

‘I mean, the team might be 50 people, and we couldn’t simply take 50 rooms at a hotel; we had to take over the whole hotel because of the guidelines we were given.’ We needed to bring in our own catering crew, as well as COVID testing personnel.

‘Every day, we were put to the test, and if anybody failed, even if it was only one person, the ship would have been abandoned, which would have been financially disastrous, so it was a huge team effort.’

The experienced host believes that viewers will notice and appreciate the efforts taken to produce the program in the midst of the epidemic.

‘I believe that shows in the special we produced,’ he added. On that one, we were at the top of our game. It’s also a… Because we aren’t overseas, it’s like the Grand Tour Unplugged, because there isn’t any landscape or volcanoes to fall back on; it’s just rain.

‘We had to offer entertainment, and I believe we did a fairly decent job,’ says the group.

The Grand Tour hosts have known each other for years and enjoy pranking one other, with their Lochdown special showcasing one of their most hilarious pranks.

James told Metro.co.uk and other outlets that he’s already planning his retaliation against co-star Jeremy after Jeremy and Richard conspired to pour hundreds of litres of water into James’ car behind his back when he was at a pitstop alone.

Jeremy Clarkson is a British television presenter.

When James returned and discovered a leak, he opened the trailer door and was knocked to the ground by a torrent of water.

James said, ‘I have a number of huge things set up for Clarkson.’ We’re curious!

On Friday, July 30, The Grand Tour Scotland will be available on Amazon Prime Video.
