With season 3 of Cobra Kai waiting in the wings, it’s only natural to speculate about the rest of the series. Will the connection between Daniel and Johnny continue? Is Hawk staying away from the Cobra Kai? Who is Crease going to support him? The questions are endless and could literally go on forever. That’s the beauty of Cobra Kai as he enters round four: Not only does he have 4 legendary movies (and video games and animated series behind him), but he also has 30 episodes of new stories hanging from his hat.
So, after the unthinkable happens (40 years of preparation!), Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny (William Zabka) finally get together, where does the series go from here? In seasons 2 and 3 of Cobra Kai, the two men primarily fought John Creeze (Martin Cove). Now they’re literally putting the spell on each other, because it’s gone: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Tori versus Samantha: Will they settle everything once and for all?

In season 3 of Cobra Kai, Tori (Peyton List) seems to have Samantha LaRusso’s (Mary Trash) number. Samantha was shocked by her fight in season two. When they get the chance to fight in the third season, Samantha is very shy. She doesn’t want to get involved with Tory, and that helps support Tory’s character as more than just an asshole. At the end of the third season, however, Samantha turns to Tori. She fights this seemingly invincible enemy. Expect the final fight to be between Miyagi Do/Eagle Fang and Cobra Kai Dojo Tori vs Samantha. И… Expect this to be one of the best fights in the entire Karate Kid canon!
Now that Miyagi Do and Eagle Fan Dojo have merged, will they stay together?

At the end of the third season, Cobra Kai, Daniel and Johnny joined forces to form the Dojo. If you pay attention to body language, it seems like Johnny and Daniel’s students have it all figured out and everything is fine. Do you? In the final moments of season 3, Demetrius (Gianni Decenzo) and Hawk (Jacob Bertrand) shake hands and give each other a brotherly hug. Miguel (Xolo Mariduena) and Samantha smile as if their relationship has never been interrupted. But perhaps the look in Daniel and Johnny’s eyes is the most revealing. Their connection seems difficult. They seem to have developed a certain distrust after nearly four decades, which doesn’t just disappear now that they’re training in Daniel’s backyard. So you two are staying together? Probably, but expect some very difficult moments along the way (full of misunderstandings and misinformation).
Are Robbie and Tori having sex?

Robbie (Tanner Buchanan) and Tori are essentially the same character. They both have short fuses, they both break the law, and they both seem to have problems with people. With Kriz training them under the Cobra Kai banner, it seems logical that the two will eventually become one thing. Their shared history, not to mention the time they will likely spend together defeating Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang, seems to have set the two on a collision course of hearts. So, uh… It is almost certain that they will sleep together, but will they stay together? That remains to be seen.
Does Hawk stay true to Miyagi-do and Eagle Fang?

Once again, at the end of season 3, it seems that Hawk, Demetrius, and all of Cobra Kai’s old friends and enemies have crushed the ongoing squabbles of the early seasons. Yet Hawk is still a wild card. As strong as he is, as dedicated as he is, he seems to lack a strong sense of who he is. As a character who has overcompensated for much of the series (attitude, exaggerated mohawk, tattoos, etc.), he seems like the most mature person who would fall apart and pray for any plans Kreese might have. Of course, he does his best to stay strong, but once Tory and the others remind him of his loyalty, it seems only a matter of time before Hawk’s loyalty to his new dojo is questioned.
DoesCruz carry Terry Silver from Karate Kid 3 to Cobra Kai season 4?

At the end of the third season of Cobra Kai, Crease is seen, beaten and bruised, on the phone, calling an old friend. This is in contrast to the beatings and bruises he received after an incident in Vietnam where he saved the life of another soldier. The soldier says he’ll be there for Creese if he needs anything. As he makes his final roll call of season 3, Crease looks at a photo of him and two other soldiers in Vietnam. However, given that Cobra Kai likes to bring back former teammates from past Karate Kid movies, it’s a good bet that Cruise will once again include Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffin), the bad boy from Karate Kid’s third installment, in his new fight. The only negative is that Terry didn’t seem very happy with Crease at the end of the third part of Karate. So why would he join him for another fight where Daniel (and Johnny) are clearly better strengthened?
Will Karate Kid 3’s Mike Barnes appear in season 4 of Cobra Kai?

Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) was the villain in Karate Kid Part III. It makes sense that when Chris reconnects with Terry Silver at the end of Cobra Kai’s third season, Mike Barnes shouldn’t be far behind. Sure, Daniel and Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) swept it away at the end of the 1989 film, but Krize was beaten in 1984, which didn’t stop him from making one hell of a comeback. Mike Barnes, like Johnny before him, probably doesn’t feel good about life either. Maybe he’ll join in on this new challenge (with his students?), which could provide Daniel and the Karate Fiduciary Miyagi Do/Fang Eagle with some welcome revenge. Is it even possible that she and Daniel could get back together? Or can Johnny face him?

Robbie’s incarceration in the reformatory was not particularly memorable – except for his very strained relationship with Shawn (Okea Eme-Akwari). Sean had Robbie in his sights from the moment he arrived. Eventually they both attacked and Robbie and Shawn took a step back. That’s what made their fight so memorable, and in the end it seemed to create a friendship forged in fire. So Sean could make a reappearance in season 4 of Cobra Kai. Imagine the following scenario: …. Sean is getting out of juvenile detention, maybe he has nowhere else to go, or maybe he needs to do something to make his probation officer happy? Whatever happens, he finds his way to the Cobra Kai dojo, Robbie talks about him to Crease, and the Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang alt-dojo gets even more excited.
Miguel and Samantha are back together, will they stay together?

Honestly, Samantha and Robbie felt more like Mr. Right now, as Samantha Mr. I’ve found it now. This has never been more apparent than when Miguel had the chance to be with Samantha in season 3 of Cobra Chi. Strangely, Miguel still seems to have feelings for Tori, but he seems to know that she’s not the right person for him. We also saw Miguel and Daniel spend some time together, and that helped Daniel explain his role in Johnny’s equation. Now that Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang have teamed up, it seems that this could make Miguel and Samantha’s relationship even stronger.
Could Hilary Swank from The Next Karate Kid ever play in Cobra Kai?

Laugh if you want, but Hilary Swank was the star of The Next Karate Kid. She came into Miyagi’s life after Daniel left, so why couldn’t she show up at Cobra Kai somewhere? Could there be some kind of standoff between Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do Karate? Maybe the Swank character, Julie Pierce, has a child training in this dojo? Or can his child join the Cobra Kai? Maybe Julie will become an instructor at one of the dojos. She may be involved in all this with Amanda LaRusso (Courtney Henggeler)…. maybe they are work friends in some way? You see, in real life, Swank just shot away for Netflix, which was cancelled after the first season. Is it so hard to imagine him attaching his star to a plot that resembles a real slam dunk?

During the first two seasons of the Cobra Kai, Demetrius did pretty much nothing but complain and fear everything. Season 3 of Cobra Kai, where he finally gained confidence, turned out to be the right one and started kissing Yasmin (Annalisa Cochrane). When they grabbed Samantha and Miguel, Yasmin played the kiss like it meant nothing while Demetri announced that he was in love. What happens now? Expect the two men to continue their relationship in secret, which will only make them more attractive to each other.
Do Daniel and Johnny stay friends in season 4 of Cobra Kai?

When we finished Cobra Kai’s third season, Daniel and Johnny formed an obsessive alliance that fans thought hadn’t existed since the appearance of Crease at the end of the first season. Sure, there have been a few setbacks to get there (Daniel having issues with Miguel, Robbie living in LaRusso’s house, Daniel and Johnny’s past), but the fact is we’re here now. The question is whether our protagonists can stay here. Will the fragile bond between Daniel and Johnny break when Robbie, Miguel and Samantha get into trouble? It looks like there are some cracks in the road, but Daniel and Johnny will eventually drive it. It’s an alliance that, had we told you this 36 years ago, you would have laughed in our faces. Well, at least for these two characters it’s the only way forward, so they’ll smile and reveal any unpleasantness.
If the Cobra Kai is defeated, will it be disbanded or will Johnny take it?

Kriz has made it clear that he will leave if Cobra loses Kai to Daniel and Johnny Dojo. The question remains: What happens to the Cobra Kai dojo if it loses the tournament? As for the house, the dojo itself would have become another showcase in this Reseda mall if the lease had not been awarded to Johnny. It’s not too hard to imagine Daniel betting on the Cobra Kai to help Johnny get ahead? Or will Johnny stay with Daniel in the garden as co-owner of their new karate school? Basically, as the scenario predicts, Kreese should actually leave, and according to Johnny’s comments about Cobra Kai in season 3, Johnny will keep the Eagle Fang name and stay in LaRusso’s backyard. If working with Daniel isn’t unbearable, he can move Eagle Fang to the old Cobra Kai place. In this scenario, Cobra Kai is just a name at this point.
Robbie versus Miguel: Will they fight again?

Like the battle between Daniel and Johnny, the one between Robbie and Miguel has more problems and issues. The two men were enemies for three seasons, and they fought in a tournament and brawl (as opposed to Daniel and Johnny’s fight and the Karate Kid rules). With Miguel now coached by Johnny and Daniel (a situation that will no doubt cause friction in season 4) and Robbie under Crease, the stage is set for these two to settle things once and for all in the tournament. Miguel has the advantage of having beaten Robbie before (albeit with an asterisk because Miguel first attacked Robbie’s injured shoulder). Robbie could have benefited from Miyagi-Do’s mental teachings, but now that Crease (and his obvious anger toward Johnny’s traitorous father) is behind him, it seems that blind rage is all he has. Robbie also has the advantage of almost killing Miguel at the end of season 2. Robbie’s not a killer, though, and that might lead him to suspect that these two people are back on the carpet.
Hawk v. Kyler: It’s supposed to happen in season 4 of Cobra Kai, isn’t it?

When Kyler (Joe So) joined the Cobra Kai dojo in the third season, the first thing he showed was an incredible floor exercise. He was clearly a wrestler with some karate experience who is now in transition to full-time karate. You could tell immediately that the hawk felt threatened by the arrogant kyler. The two have never had a fight, but after Hawk changed his mind about the dojo (literally in the middle of a fight at LaRusso’s!), it looks like Kyler (who teased Hawk when he was called Eli) will get his number. Expect plenty of skirmishes in between, with the finale on the All Valley Tournament mat.
When will Cobra Kai season 4 be filmed?
According to series co-creator Josh Heald, season 4 of Cobra Kai will be filmed in early 2021. Therefore, the wait for season 4 will be extremely short, as Netflix could launch the next season on the 1st. January 2022 could come true, just like the Cobra Kai season 3 banner coming out on New Year’s Day. I hope, if I may, that this happens soon.
Cobra Kai season 5 on Netflix, will it happen?

At this point, we really feel like we’re hosting Season 4 on the world’s most ubiquitous streamer. They even advertise in Cobra Kai’s season 3 commercial, which announces that season 4 is in training. However, there is still a long way to go, making the idea of a fifth season seem like an eternity. At this stage, season 4 could have so many events that the show could hang its giant on it. Karate Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang managed to beat Cobra Kai, Johnny and Robbie, Samantha and Tori managed to make up, etc., so you don’t even have to plan for Season 5. At the same time, Cobra Kai seems to be a good deal for Netflix. Why’d you cancel it? The main reason is probably financial need. The strength of this distribution increases and grows with each season. Some actors may get tired of certain roles, others may try to negotiate more money, the story of season 5 may seem a bit overdone…. So it’s entirely possible (even unlikely) that Cobra Kai will get the job done after season 4.

And given that the city of Reseda seems to be steeped in karate legends and that the municipal authorities are reluctant to change things, it seems only fitting that a fight between the two dojos should take place during the All Valley Tournament, which originally bore its name. The tournament also took place on Th Karate Kid, The Karate Kid Part III and Cobra Kai Season 1. Why didn’t this happen in season 4 of Cobra Kai?
WillChozen come to the United States to help Johnny and Daniel fight Crease?

After Chozen’s (Yuji Okumoto) appearance in season 3 of Cobra Kai, it was surprising to hear that he’s a good guy. After all, that character tried to kill Daniel in Karate Kid Part 2. He really embodied the idea of hard work, so it was very interesting to see a softer, smoother Chozen when Daniel returned to Okinawa. Well, given what we know at the end of season 3 (that Kreese is bringing in big guns for season 4), shouldn’t Daniel and Johnny have some backup and bring in Chozen? Seems like an unbeatable combination, especially if Chozen takes a few students with him. Frankly, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. While Cobra Kai picks up and develops Karate Kid’s story, Chozen’s return after his near-perfect introduction in season 3 seems a bit trite. Frankly, we’re more likely to see Hilary Swank.
Little Miyagi will probably never exist, but will we ever see a young M.? Miyagi in flashbacks?

With the story that John Crease was so good, why didn’t we get to see a young Mr. Crease? Miyagi? Don’t you want to know more about his debut? About his military service and what it was like for him to grow up as an Asian American in a very different America? The fourth season of Cobra Kai could be a history lesson that not only deepens his character, but also another character’s relationship with him. All we’ve had to do so far is tell the stories Miyagi has told in the movies and what Daniel has told in his series. A young Miyagi would develop this series and give us some answers, for example B. Why did he buy the house he bought? How could he afford that (and all those cars) on a janitor’s salary!? Imagine the Karate Kid story, but look at it from Mr. Miyagi’s point of view. What did he really think of Daniel when he first met him? Was he secretly afraid of Crease? Was he embarrassed to hit the Cobra Kai dojo on Halloween?
Will Kumiko return to cause trouble in Daniel’s marriage?

One of the most fun Easter eggs Cobra Kai season 3 had to offer was the return of Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita), Daniel’s love interest from Karate Kid part II. Daniel seems devoted to his wife Amanda. Especially since he almost lost it in the second season of Cobra Kai! Also, Kumiko lives in Okinawa, so the chances of Daniel and his connections are slim. Besides, Amanda didn’t seem to bother Daniel when she saw the old flame on his trip down memory lane. If Amanda was upset, we never saw her because she was too busy running the family business and trying to stop a bunch of wild karate students from killing each other. However, our world is much more interconnected than Karate Kid Part 2 was. It’s not very likely, but Danielle could be zooming around, using Skype, FaceTime, Google Meet, etc. with Kumiko in such a way that if Amanda finds out, she won’t be happy. Is that going to happen? Probably not. One day Daniel almost lost Amanda. It would be foolish to risk everything again, especially with what is happening in Reseda.

With Cobra Kai, we’ve learned to never say never again. When you heard about this series, did you think you would see Crease again and learn about his life story? Did you ever think you’d see other villains from the original Cobra Kai dojo? Did you think you were going to whisper the name Chozen or Terry Silver again? From what we saw of Ali in season 3 of Cobra Kai, she seems to have fulfilled her role. It’s thanks to her that Daniel and Johnny fought in the first place, but it’s also thanks to her that Daniel was able to overcome his situation in The Karate Kid. She helped answer some questions, explained and debunked some long-held theories about fans, and showed our two main characters that they’re more alike than they think (it makes sense that she liked them both at first!) While she doesn’t seem to be coming back (and I don’t think she is), she might be moving because she’s no longer married. One of her kids might be interested in karate, or she might just come to town to attend the All Valley Tournament that seems to be on Cobra Kai’s Season 4 schedule.

For now, and looking forward to season 4 of the Cobra Kai, it looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon. Again, if you had told me in 2017 that we would have 3 seasons in depth of a series that was a spin-off of The Karate Kid, I don’t think I would have believed it either. Like I said, everything we’ve seen from The Karate Kid to Cobra Kai Season 3 is built on this alliance between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. On several occasions, especially in the second season, they almost ran over their cattle. Now that their dojos have merged and this seems to be the best way for the youth of Reseda, it is not impossible, but very unlikely, that our dear owners will get involved again.
