With an official restart of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Studios, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are at the top of their game as Reed Richards and Sue Storm. No cast members for the project have yet been announced, but earlier this month it was announced that Spider-Man : Homecoming and Spider-Man: The director of Far From Home, John Watts, will direct the film. Now that production has started, Krasinski and Blunt are leading the pack to be the stars of the next restart.

USA Online Sportsbooks mentions John Krasinski as the most likely actor to play Mister Fantastic. This comes after Krasinski has already shown interest in the role and the Marvel fans have largely responded positively to the idea. Legion star Dan Stevens and Tenet star John David Washington are also on the list of the lowest scorers.

POWERFUL : Amber heard the invisible woman of the MCU in the Fantastic Four fan art.

Moreover, Emily Blunt prefers the role of Invisible Woman, who could reunite her with her husband and her co-star of A Quiet Place. Second place goes to Lily James (Baby Driver) and Samara Weaving (Ready or Not), and both also seem to be good choices for the role. Although Amber Heard was recently seen in a fan art show called Sue Storm, Aquaman’s star is not on the list.

The odds are more different for the second half of the Fantastic Four. Hamilton star Anthony Ramos leads the way for the human torch, but Zac Efron approaches. Other names are Riz Ahmed, Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort and Dacre Montgomery.

As far as The Thing is concerned, Stephen Graham (Irish) is the clear favourite to take second place behind Breaking Bad star Dean Norris. Other names mentioned in the bet are Laz Alonso, Ricky Whittle, John Cena, Dominic Purcell, Jared Kizo, Nathan Fillion, Terry Crews, Phillip Brooks and Dwayne Johnson.

Meanwhile, the role of Doctor Doom, who will probably be the villain of the film, is widely acclaimed by Better Call Saul and mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito. The finalists are Cillian Murphy, Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen.

A look at social media also shows that many people would be disappointed if someone other than Krasinski and Blunt were to get these roles. This includes several posts on Twitter, and although the names of Human Torch and The Thing have changed, Krasinski and Blunt are still referred to as Mr. Invisible Fantastic Woman.

I’m so excited about this movie. I know Marvel will make it this time, and I really hope these rumors about John Krasinski and Emily Blunt turn out to be true, reads a tweet.

Just one more question: Most of us agree that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt should play Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, but who should play the Thing and the Human Torch?

Anyway, it’s only a matter of time before the Fantastic Four finally makes its debut as MCU on the release of Fantastic Four. The date for the film’s premiere has not yet been set, but as production gets underway, announcements for casting are likely to be made shortly. This information is from USA Online Sportsbooks.
