Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer called the racist remarks against Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Martial disgusting after the defeat against Sheffield United.
The club condemned the number of offensive posts on social media following Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat, and United’s manager said those responsible were not welcome to support the club.

It’s just incredible that we still have these scenes, this abuse in 2021, Solskjaer said at a press conference on Friday.
We’ve been campaigning with the Premier League for some time now and I think it’s working, but there are still people who haven’t.
They hide behind social media and remain anonymous. It is unacceptable and disgusting. They’re not Man United fans if that happens. We all support each of our actors.

Axel is fine, I talked to him, and of course he is not fine, but he is a strong boy, a strong character.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer has said he wants Jesse Lingard back after his time at West Ham United.
The 28-year-old is expected to move to the London Stadium before the end of the season and Solskjaer said he expected the midfielder to return to the club.
We want Jesse to come back here alive and show what a good player he is at West Ham, Solskjaer added.
He was just unlucky enough to have a few problems, he had to stay away from us with COVID – isolation and close contact.
The rest of the team did well, we didn’t have many injuries and he didn’t play his part in the team. We want him to come back and show he is a Man United player until the end.
Solskjaer also expects Marcos Rojo to move to Boca Juniors before the end of January. Goalkeeper Sergio Romero could stay at the club until the summer, despite his absence this season.
Marcos is likely to return to Argentina, with some formalities still to be completed, Solsker said. I haven’t heard anything from Sergio yet, except that he’s staying with us until the end of his contract.
They travel to Arsenal on Saturday after a surprising defeat at home and go to Sheffield United on Wednesday.
Solskjaer may call up defender Eric Bailey, who was injured midweek.
He is going to Arsenal, Solskjaer added. Apart from that, there are no other absentees at Sheffield United and all players are fit and ready to go.
