The Los Angeles Lakers will play their second game tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers.  It’s time to continue the NBA odds series and make a prediction and choice for the Blazers-Lakers.

The Lakers currently have a record of 2-1 and are coming out. The Blazers are 1-1 and picked up their first victory two days ago in an overtime thriller against the Houston Rockets.

Here’s how the sports books determine the chances of the Blazers to open the score against the Lakers at home.

Paris NBA: Blazers bet against Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers -3.5 (-115)

Portland Trail Blowers +3.5 (-105)

More than 227.5 points (-110)

less than 227.5 points (-110)

Why the Lakers can cover the gap.

Lakers, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Blazers....

After losing the game to the Clippers, the Lakers left a trail of destruction in their wake. The Purple and Gold won their last two matches with a total of 59 points. Both games ended early in the fourth quarter.

Even more impressive was the fact that the Lakers didn’t get their stars in their two victories.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis played only 31 and 30 minutes on Christmas Day respectively. Kyle Kuzma was Minnesota’s top scorer with 20 points, while Anthony Davis had to sit out the match due to a calf strain.

The most important factor for the Lakers tonight is James’ availability. He is currently on the list of daily players with a nagging ankle injury while Davis will play.

Even without James, the Lakers can still win against the Blazers. The depth of the team was open, with Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell and the rest of the Lakers bench meeting expectations.

The Lakers offense is a machine at the moment, with an average of just under 125 points per game. It was a nightmare game for a porous Blazers defense that scored 124 points per game.

Considering that this Blazers team was eliminated by Utah Jazz and narrowly defeated by the Rockets without John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, it looks like the chalk can be laid here for the champions.

Why Blazers can cover distribution

The Blazers, Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum...

Connecting points

The Blazers bounced back from their defeat in Saturday’s opening match and won after extra time with a hairpin bend.

C.J. McCollum led Houston nine times with three points, scoring 44 points for Beard and Co.

What bothers the Blazer loyalty the most is Damian Lillard’s bad start. Lillard scored 32 points against Houston, but missed a couple of shots that are normally made, getting little 11-28 off the ground.

Against the Jazz, Lillard was even worse, he shot 4-12 and scored only 9 points.

The lady was as cold as ice. But we do know one thing about Damian Lillard: He loves the limelight. What better way for the Checkers to save time than a return game with the team that defeated the Blazers in the playoffs last year?

Lillard is too good a player to go through long periods of drought. Expect him to ride in Los Angeles tonight and test the Lakers defense all night.

If Lillard can get back on track, the Blazers can face a Lakers team playing in their second straight game. If L.A. starts showing lean legs, the Blowers can steal it from Staples.

Blower final coat prediction and selection

Damian Lillard has a big game ahead of him, but the defense of the Blazers was brutal to start the season. This team will not be able to stop the attack of the Lakers, who are shooting at all cylinders. Their best hope is to keep the shoot-out, but without Carmelo Anthony a huge burden rests on the shoulders of McCollum and Lillard. It’s not the first time I’ve been able to support a Blazer team abroad against the defending champions.

THE PROGNOSIS OF THE SESSIONS: 124, ERP 108.

Warriors, Draymond Green, James Wiseman, Stephen Curry.
