Day was questioned about Alabama coach Nick Saban’s recent remark that Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young might demand seven figures in NIL deals when he spoke Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium. “Everything comes with some danger,” Day remarked. “There are dangers associated with the virus, with the vaccination, with testing positive, with contact tracing, and with not being able to play. We’ve left it up to the gamers to decide. We strive to teach them as much as possible…. However, I believe we are in an excellent position. It’s a characteristic that each man has.”
